Bye-Bye “Free Range” ~ Hello “Miss Roxie”

Casita and Shasta

In June of 2017, after sitting in covered storage since her last camping trip to New Braunfels in August 2016, I was finally able to bring myself to sell my beloved Casita, Free Range.

While I seriously thought about keeping both travel trailers (my Casita and my new Shasta), I believe a camper should be used and not just sit in storage for sentimental reasons or an occasional outing.

Casita Update: Free Range is Sold

So I posted my Casita for sale, and Free Range sold within hours! She now spends her days with her new owner, and a new name, in the Appalachian Mountains.

That little brown egg, now a coffee bean, is taking on a whole new life of her own with her new owner! I couldn’t be happier!

Please know you will ALWAYS be able to find my Free Range makeover projects here on Mrs. Padilly’s Travels! I hope they continue to inspire you with your makeovers.

I have begun posting the latest Glamping makeover series of my new travel trailer, Miss Roxie, a 1961 Shasta Airflyte Reissue!

This “tin can” is turning out to be a lot of fun! And even though she is new, I have still been tearing her apart inside, making her my own! 🙂
